Christina Ladas is a graduate of the Pratt Institute School of Fine Art. Working as a studio artist, designer and painter in 2 and 3 dimensional design, product design, display and advertising, her work is sold internationally. Christina and her husband Stephan Economou, also a HorseAbility Board Member, and daughters, Alexandria and Erena, discovered the power and healing of the human equine relationship when Alexandria began riding many years ago. Horses redefined the more subtle components of wholeness, shaping Alexandria’s career pursuit of alternative therapies. Alexandria studies the Way of the Horse in the Arizona desert, is certified in Animal Assisted Interventions, a Reiki Master specializing with animals and creator of sensory programs for all ages and abilities. Alexandria is a speaker on the disability experience, potter and custom jewelry maker. Erena Digonis, LCSW, licensed psychotherapist and Certified Integrative Health Coach brings her wellness perspectives of mind-body-spirit connection to her clients. Christina enjoys her time spent in the company of horses and their many lessons that have found their way into her heart and creative process.
