Collyn
PATH Certified Instructor
Collyn has an MS in Special Education and is a certified teacher in Elementary Education and Special Education birth through 21. She taught in NYC until she had children, then took time off to raise her 4 boys. Collyn went back to the classroom when they got older and has been working at her neighborhood elementary school since 2016. In 2020, since her boys were getting older she was looking to volunteer somewhere. She has always loved animals, especially horses and dogs. Collyn found HorseAbility by googling and started volunteering in October of 2020. She fell in love with everything about it and after about a year and a half started training to be a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor, which she achieved in November of 2023. When she is not in the ring you can find Collyn around the barn helping to take care of our herd.
