Margot Horn

Margot was a Special Education teacher at Hicksville High School for over 30 years. She has an M.S. in Special Education and is certified to teach elementary and Special Education, K-12. Margot began volunteering at Camp HorseAbility in 2001, as a way to work with children with special needs over her summer vacation. She has continued to volunteer for all 20 years of camp.  She stayed on as a full year volunteer for HorseAbility after her first camp experience. In 2007, Margot obtained her certification as a PATH therapeutic riding instructor. In her spare time, Margot enjoys baking and cake decorating; you can always try her delicious creations things at HorseAbility’s bake sales! Margot loves riding her daughter Amanda’s horse, Prada.
